SANDWICH AND TAMWORTH

The northern Ossipees from Bearcamp Pond in Sandwich.

The villages and uplands of Sandwich and Tamworth lie between the Sandwich Range and the lakes and ponds to the south; they embody some of the best qualities to be be found in our region. Wilderness, working forests, recreation trails, historic villages, and long-established conservation traditions come together here to create and preserve landscapes of uncommon beauty. The Trust is honored to play a role in the protection of these special qualities of nature, community, and place.
