RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAINS HOLDERNESS

The Rattlesnake Mountains consist of 173 acres of protected, publicly accessible property in Holderness. One of the most popular trails in the Squam region is the Old Bridle Path up West Rattlesnake, which offers an easy ascent to impressive views of Squam Lake and beyond. A network of trails on the Rattlesnake Mountains provides a variety of options for an early morning outing or a late afternoon hike following a day on the lake.

Maps can be obtained by calling the Squam Lakes Association (SLA) at 603-968-7336.
