30th Anniversary Celebration

Lakes Region Conservation Trust members and friends joined in a celebration of LRCT's 30th Anniversary on July 26, 2009 at the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area. The celebration included guided hikes, a picnic in the field under a big tent, live music with a talented New Hampshire band, a raffle with over 30 great prizes, an overview of LRCT's land conservation accomplishments and initiatives, a reading by an old friend of the Lakes Region, and recognition of the volunteers, members, and landowners who make LRCT's conservation work possible. The celebration provided an opportunity for LRCT supporters to get to know each other and enjoy a day exploring and enjoying this landmark property.
