EAGLE CLIFF SANDWICH

Eagle Cliff is a 102 acre property open to the public in Sandwich. Beginning from Squam Lake Road in Sandwich, the Eagle Cliff Trail is a short, steep climb to a view point offering impressive views of Squam Lake, connecting to a western approach to the Red Hill summit. The trail passes open ledges through forest of red pine, and ends at the Red Hill fire tower, where hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of Winnipesaukee, Squam, and the Ossipee and Belknap Mountains.

Maps can be obtained by calling the Squam Lakes Association (SLA) at 603-968-7336.
